Question Catback questions

I am in search for a quiet catback. I narrowed my search to Cobb and BR Crossflow. Are these good in the long run when I'd want to go for more power? Are they close to OEM ground clearance? I am more inclined to go for Crossflow, because it's lighter and cheaper. I rulled out Legalis and magnaflow as I like their design less. Any thoughts?

Go magna flow, it is the same mufller Buschur uses for their crossflow exhaust but the magna flow is around $200 cheaper.

I'm looking for a quiet one too. NoVA cops are a pain.

I PM'd one owner of the Crossflow, he says he thinks it's gotten a bit louder after a few thousand miles. That's kinda turned me away from that catback. I'm going to wait for more vids of the ETS quiet and Cobb. Cobb is going to release a new tipped exhaust sometime but I guess they'll keep the rest of the catback the same.

Black Friday is coming up and if I see something for a good price I may just jump on it regardless of whether it's ets or cobb.

Just FYI the BR Crossflow doesn't taper and if you look closely the midpipe design it is better for clearance.

Catback ground clearance

Which quiet catbacks have stock like ground clearance? I know Cobb's has. Any other alternatives?

I think Todd is correct on the mid-pipe. As for the taper I know MAP offers a full 3" version that gets rid of the taper for a small fee.

I am in the same boat for exhausts as I live in Cali and want to remain as stealth and quiet as I can. So far I am looking into the Cobb (expensive) and the Magnaflow 3". I am semi interested in the UR exhaust as well, but I don't recall reading how quiet it is.

HiG: Im running the crossflow, and am lowered. Have not had any issues with ground clearance. When making my choice I was considering the Cobb and crossflow also. The Cobb has a deeper tone when just cruising around, but was also a tad louder. They both sounded very similar when on the gas. Ended up going with the crossflow since it was a little quieter, and used the money I saved on buying a nicer o2/dp.

The UR is not quiet! Heard a UR catback with mini muffler that was still running the stock cat...louder than my crossflow with a test pipe.

I am also lowered and running the Buschur crossflow and I am very happy. The crossflow is definitely quiet...I am running the stock cat.
