BOV/Engine issue

hey guys, a quick question?

I installed a cold air intake and it works great for the most part. Sometime when i let of the gas slightly the BOV flutters and then the entire car shudders, and i have to accelerate for it to stop. Do you guys have any clue on what this may be?

Thanks

i agree with max, you might have to get the car tuned or adjust the screw on top of the bov. i have aps bov that was fluttering as well until i adjust the screw so it wont flutter.

I have a stock BOV. So adjust the screw? Was your entire care shuddering?

I have the whole car stutter, only from being in 5th on a hill at too low of an rpm. I know a few others who have the same issue. I thinks it's normal, and to get rid of it, just downshift for hills.

Yeah it seems pretty common, you don't hear it until you have an open intake, but I've felt the stutter before I had my intake on.

This is a issue that is quite common on many turbo cars when power levels are increased over stock.

A inexpensive solution for this is to install a larger ID vacuum line that runs to the blow off valve. Should eliminate the issue you are having.

Is it damaging? Or just annoying?
Also, the only reason I don't think this is the case is that before I had my intake in (my only mod) I could still feel the stutter, though I wouldn't hear it.
