Short Ram with no tune?

I do not plan on doing my tune for another 2 or 3 months b\c I only 400 miles on the car but can I add a ETS short ram intake without going too lean? Will this screw up anything? Will throw any codes?

I would like to break up my spending over several months. I already have a CBE and a test pipe on the way.

The other option is i can purchase the intake now and install right before I get the tune as well.

Thanks for the input.

The ETS intake is well designed, you'll be fine.

I have the ETS w/ no tune at the moment......totally cool. The ETS & the Cobb both reuse the stock MAF. Thus, a tune is not immediately necessary. The AMS however (what i was told) uses it's own MAF, thus a tune is very important. That us actually one of the main reasons that I chose ETS over AMS.
