You mentioned that there is play in the cables. Is this the side to side wiggle of the shifter when it is in gear? can you tell/show us what you mean? I'd like to see a comparison between stock and your full replacement cage before I vote. if someone has a vid of the stock cage flexing, that would be helpful too.

Hi fugifighter,

The side-to-side wiggle in gear is partially due to the play in the cables (most of it can be fixed with our cable bushing kit), but the bigger play is front-to-back when in gear. This is largely due to the way that the cables are fixed...here's a pic to illustrate my point:

The metal bracket that guides the cable leaves a lot of slack in the line. This is what may also be causing the 5th gear rattle (we will have to confirm this with testing...right now it's simply a hypothesis). The full replacement will comes with a sort of cable fastening brace to remove this play.

As for direct comparisons with the stock unit and other pictures and videos, they will all come once we get our test car in

Thanks for the participation everyone, and stay tuned for more updates!

You'll be able to use a TWM short shifter with the assembly and a full race shifter will also be available!

We just got the prototype and we're looking at a first test next week!
