A review from a customer:

AWESOME!

I couldn’t stop swapping through gears. It felt so good. The shifting sensation is totally different now. It feels like finely machined gearing. Almost rifle bolt in feeling. The throw distance is so much shorter. At first I wasn’t even sure I was in first gear because it didn’t feel like I had moved the shifter enough. It now requires more force to swap gears but it feels so so good. 2nd to 3rd is smooth and 3rd to 4th is almost orgasmic!

It’s hard to tell which part actually improved the shifts, the short shifter or shifter cage, but whatever is the case, together the results are phenomenal.

Its only early days yet, and I have a lot more driving to do before I can give you a better idea of how the TWM shifter cage performs, but for now I am happy. It was worth every cent I paid.

would enjoy picking up a shifter.. but i have the sst.... if ya feel like diging around the sst tranny to make some sort of cool *** looking Rally style Tall sequential style shifter that works with the sst... I'd be in for something like that. id probbaly pay nearly 500$ too.
i was thinking a tower that when the shifter goes in to manual mode.. comes closer to the steering wheel and has a throw of 1" to 1.5" obviously solid feel of a structure.

/ with joints in the middle so when you flip it one way it will activate the toggle at the bottom.

I've been trying to figure out one for months now.. even if it was only 6" taller it would be a blast.

By chance will this get rid of the annoying issue of the car not wanting to go into reverse first start-up? I assume not

Nope, doesn't change that. That's a different issue that really isn't that big of a deal. Just go through 1st and 3rd a few times (Since those two together makes reverse) and it'll be better.

Correct...That can't be fixed by any shifter/cage/bushings. It's caused by the lack of synchros for the reverse gear. Therefore, throwing it into 1st or 3rd aligns the input shaft and lets Reverse go in nicely.
