The benefits are simple. Basically this kit Completely replaces the OEM plastic shifter housing with an All Steel Construction and uses our current TWM Performance EVO X Short Shifter! That means all play in the plastic assembly is eliminated, creating a more direct and precise shift feel. In addition, the center OEM pivot cup is replaced with our TWM Performance Center pivot system which has tighter tolerances than the OEM piece, which again means less play in the assembly, and a more direct shift feel.

Finally to optimize every aspect of the Full Assembly, we’re using Ball Bearings in the Side Arm to make for the smoothest shift possible, every single time! In short, this kit is GUARANTEED to COMPLETELY Revolutionize the way Your EVO X Shifts!

It's the sickest thing for your Evo X

 

so just to be clear, the shift height isn't adjustable, if I want the shifter up higher, I need to buy the extender?

I'm asking cause in the original feeler thread you said that you were planning on making the shifter height adjustable...

 

Any issues with being used on RHD Evo X?

That's correct the height is not adjustable. In the feeler thread, we had spoken about releasing a tall short shifter, but we've decided to forgo that option. So if you're looking for a taller shifter shaft, the Shifter Extender paired up with this is an awesome setup

Thanks! For the RHD cars, we can't source a car here to test it, BUT we're 100% sure it will fit due to the dimensions we've seen in the past. We'll be adding the RHD option up shortly!

For people that have a different brand short shifter, will those fit in the cage as well?

 

It's possible, but we have no idea. Our short shifter is unique in the bends and dimensions that it has. Seeing as all other manufacturers have their own designs and way of doing things, we can't guarantee that it'll fit.

Will this eliminate or reduce the notchy shifting, especially the 3rd gear crunch from 2nd > 3rd shift? And how long is the extender?
