Hks racing suction intake

Can someone tell me why this intake is so expensive? Is it that special that its nearly double the price of the other brands

Still is there anything about it that makes it stand apart from the rest? Just wondering because it was recommended to me. But through my research I have not found anything concrete to see it a worthwhile buy.

It's 3" All the way from the filter head and bolts right onto the turbo, no silicone reducer like most others. Looks pimP too lmao

no reducer on a 3" pipe feeding into a 2.5" turbo inlet? that'll cause a ****load of turbulence and reduce flow.

Original is 3" reducing from 2.5" from the intake

the stock turbo inlet is not 3". It's at most 2.5", but I think it's actually 2.25". I think the inducer itself is 56mm. The FP Red inlet isn't even 3" (although they do sell a 3" inlet adapter for the reds iirc).

like i said, if the intake is a full 3" to the turbo compressor, then it's a horrible design.

Are you sure it 'bolts' to the turbo? did you install it yourself? An intake that replaces the turbo inlet seems a little odd since it would only work on the factory turbo.
