EDIT: After talking to SSP, it is impossible for V3s to fail. This pretty much tells me I do have a V2, which would make it #3. Time to order the magnus.
Impossible is nothing.

Just installed the the ACT HDSS, ACT Flywheel, and MAGNUS CMC this past weekend and the whole thing was a ****ING NIGHTMARE. Me and my friend are fairly good with mechanical work, but installing those three things were the by far the worst things I have ever installed. Part of it was due to not having the best tools but even then it was still bad. To grind/drill the little "nubs" off of firewall to put the Evo IX CMC/Magnus Adapter on took a solid 2hrs alone because of the small air grinder we were using (tight space so couldn't fit something big ). Getting the tranny off and back on was PITA because we didn't have a tranny jack and we were working on the ground (jack stands). I don't think I will ever install one of those again >_< The whole thing took a total of about 16hrs, not including food breaks and multiple energy drink runs. Without the magnus adapter/evo IX cmc we would have been done in about 12hrs.

Yes from the inside. We put a screwdriver between the threads on the stud and gave it a few nice hits with a hammer and it didn't move. Then we tried from the outside and it was a no go

What dose it feel like when the CMC goes? I just installed my new clutch and flywheel and think I have air in the clutch line or the CMC went on the first try. The clutch pedel stays on the floor.

I had a bang, then pedal to the floor. If you reach in from the engine bay and grab the plastic cmc it will move around

Might just be air in the line. I just replaced my brake fluid today, and it was a PITA to bleed the clutch. Much more so that last time, not sure why. Had air in the slave cylinder and had to play with it quite a while to get it all out. Pedal would just go to the floor and wasn't able to get the air out by just pumping the pedal - actuating the slave cylinder finally worked.
