Make you your tuner is experienced with the X and aware you're not interested in pushing the turbo to the max in an effort to keep your stock engine alive. I'd personally just do a Green instead if you're planning on staying with the stock engine. If you're at 361 on the stock turbo a Green will have no issue getting you to 400.

im going to be making 400ish on my X, should be fine as long as your tuner knows you dont want to blow your engine.

I agree with Kracka. Plus the FP Green will spool up quicker as well

you can make the same power on lower boost. I do hope that you selected the hi flow oil feed line.

you can grow into the black but i do hope that you have future plans on building the motor and using the black to its fullest potential.

Murlo26 built his motor for it and put down some excellent numbers and seems happy with it. He had a FP red and then upgraded. Im going to get an FP Red with E85 and supporting mods and want 450whp. Im not greedy I just want a nice daily driver

I Recently just blew my stock motor at 440awhp Fp black powered. I took it to AMS and got it tuned on E85.. I just hink that the Fp is a little much for a stock block. I would say that 400 is safe hell even 500, just depends on turbo selection and torque. But if your going black better get a motor mine lasted 1 week

hp is not gonna be a problem, you have to watch out for the torque, thats what is gonna kill your engine.

AMS rates stock motors by torque I belive they said 360 ft/lbs is as high as they will go on a stock block.

Just be carful, you have to think of it as is it going to be cheaper in the long run to just build a block now or take the chance to throw a rod and then you have to buy a new block from mitsu $$$$ ..

I have made 445 hp for 20k but my Tq is only 311. Hence the 20k mile part. Yeah for T3 kits and a bit of luck.
