Forged Performance: 4B11T Motor Build

I wanted to share a few pics of an in-progress 4B11T engine build that's going into a customer's 2008 EvoX.

This is our standard S1 shortblock that's proven itself durable, and reliable across many platforms over the years. All carefully assembled, and measured in house so we know it's done right.

Parts Lists consists of Manely Rods, JE Pistons and Cosworth Bearings

Cylinder head, CBRD Tubular Manifold and CBRD BBK-Lite turbo have been bolted-up

I'm not sure how much psi they're gonna tune it to but since its only a wkd warrior i told them to be aggressive with the tune. I trust them to get the most out of it without putting it at risk so we shall see.

Noob question, but what's with the block. I'm pretty new, coming over from subies, and I thought they were semi closed deck.

It is. If this is the photo you're referring to...


... it has the head gasket on it, concealing most the deck.
