Coolant on undercarriage...

So today at work a co-worker was rotating my tires for me ( I work at an acura dealership) and we found some coolant on the plastic undercarriage ( nothing big, just a few drops). But looking at the coolant tank, it's still at the full line...

I already made an appt. to take it to mitsu to make sure I don't have some kind of slow leak, I was just wondering if anyone has any insight into where it came from, and if I should be worried about driving it until next wed? (when the appt is)

make sure your radiator cap is threaded correctly and is on tight. it gets pressurized so if its a little off, it'll leak like mad once the car gets warm

What side? The coolant overflow vents pretty much into the engine bay over the passenger side wheel well.

It was definitely on the passenger side, not at the wheel well though. Looking forward it was a few inches to the right of the oil filter.

So if i don't see the coolant level drop in the next few days, i probably don't have a leak?

Actually asked my friend who helped me, and he said that the drips were by the water pump... that still sound like the overflow?

yes because they all sit on the same side. The waterpump sits behind the motor though, doesn't hurt to take a look though at it all.

Well i have an appt. to take it to mitsu on wed. But you're saying i shouldn't have any issue driving it if the coolant level stays at full right?

that but i would keep more of an eye on your temp gauge.

edit: you have a cobb so just keep it set to display coolant temp.
