So I admit, I come from the honda camp. I'm a bit used to the way those motors sound. But sometimes, my new Evo (only 2K miles) sounds like it is making louder than normal engine noises when I accelerate or rev the motor. It is almost sort of a growl/garglesque, sound. It does not do it except for after extended drive times. Say when you are getting in from an hour or two of driving (commute and what not).

Is this normal?
