As titled ... I have searched and searched, looks like Greddy SE is the only one that I can't find any complaints. ETS V2 and others all have 1 or 2 threads regarding either hanging too low or rattling issues.
Any recommendations? I can stand louder than stock noise level but can't stand any rattling! And I want to stick with quiet ones with dual exhaust.
Thanks !

Well as far as the ETS exhausts hanging too low I'm sure you can ask them to set it up to your liking. Also you can get some polyurethane exhaust hangers to help hold the exhaust in place. Have someone who has installed the stiffer exhaust hangers install them for you. I tried to install them myself and it turned out to be a real biatch!!!
I don't remember any of the ETS exhausts being too low. I know some of the Buschur exhausts do. That's why they made the crossflow, its much nicer and I haven't ever heard of problems with that one.
Maybe Cobb- great exhaust but I never liked their tips, although I guess they could put different ones on if you asked- Greddy SE, looks and sounds great, only problem with that one is it tapers down to 2.5" to the cat, which is nice if you are going to keep the stock cat forever but most people don't. I heard that the Perrin exhaust is really nice. The Buschur cross flow, and the ETS quiet exhaust.

We had a few threads out there where customers used aftermarket exhaust hangers and the exhausts did not fit correctly. The aftermarket hangers were slightly shorter then stock and since we build our products as high as possible for optimal ground clearance it was pulling the exhaust systems into the bottom of the car. I would look at our standard v2 or quiet v2 exhaust system for the X. There are a couple new threads with before and after videos.
Here is the link to our site with all our exhaust products for the X.

If you have any questions, let me know! Oh... Another thing you want to remember when purchasing exhaust pieces. Make sure they have OEM fitment if you plan on using multiple brands. A few brands on the market have extended downpipes and shorter cat/test pipes, so if you start mixing and match you may have fitment issues.
We make sure all our products are OEM replacements meaning you can switch to the OEM pieces at any time and they will be a direct replacement. (Downpipe, Cat/Test Pipe, Exhaust System)
Thanks!

I have the ETS V2 quiet, and I love it!. I didn't do the install, Tobz performance did, so I don't know about the hangers, etc., but I can say fitment, ground clearance, and centering on rear diffuser are great. No rattles, no drone, and a nice rumbly tone without being obnoxiously loud. Can't go wrong with ETS!

The Greddy SE doesn't taper to 2.5", its 2.75" The .25" difference between it and a full 3" is really negligible. It might mean a 15whp difference once you reach 450whp levels.

do you really want to keep the dual exhaust tips? I've seen the T1r... stockish sound levels and fitment was spot on. Ultimate racing dual tip Ti was a pretty good fit too when my buddy had it.
if you don't mind going the single exit route, the Greddy TiC was probably the best fitting single i've ever seen. All others i've seen have hung low, or had a low point in the exhaust that scared me.

Fitment:
- perfect. Hooked up to the factory cat and hangars with ease.
Quality:
- perfect. 1 pc pipe. 3". Muffler is a work of art.. too bad it's underneath.
Sound:
- perfect (for me). It doesn't wake the neighbors, and allows you to still hold a conversation in the car. But most importantly, it doesn't sound like a fart in a can piece of crap. Instead, it's a very deep throaty sound. When it idles right down, it's just a bit louder than stock. (It's what stock should have been.)
Performance:
- I cant' really say for sure, as it hasn't been dyno'd. I also have the ETS intake and UICP. With everything, it does feel quicker, and definitely spools faster. Much more responsive over stock.
And lastly, a plug for ETS... not only are their products amazing, but they have the customer service to back it up too.
Videos are taken with the same setup on the camera, and exact same location.

Seriously dude, I don't think u've noticed how much rattling your 2011 X makes. I had 2010 SE, the stock one was soooo quieter than my current 2011 MR. It vibrates causing rattling through out whole RPM range... It DOES sounds very sporty and nice from outside tho, but inside cabin...Originally Posted by fast08

There is no difference between an x se muffler and x Mr muffler. If so explain cause I've already did searches and asked on the forums before.
