I recently installed my tbe with ets recirc downpipe and i'm getting a hissing sound coming from it at any type of throttle. It sounds like it may be due to the flex pipe but I'm not sure. Is this normal? Thanks

 

what gasket did you use between the hotside and downpipe?

 

it sounds like an exhaust leak
i had the same hissing noise when i put on my exhaust manifold
it ended up being a loose nut on the manifold

 

This may be the answer. I would check the bottom nut on the down pipe.

I think I have the same noise I just haven't had the time to check everything

 

the one that came with the dp.

Thank you everyone for the replies I will double check the bottom nut...is it possible I'm being overly **** should there be any type of sound coming from the downpipe.
