ETS V2 Exhaust experiences with the law in SoCal

For all of you who have the V2 regular or V2 Quiet and live in SoCal... what are you experiences with the law/ fix it tickets, etc?
For me, the V2 Extreme, although a very nice exhaust indeed, is definitely ruled out for me.
And has anyone heard them both and done a side by side comparison? Is the V2 regular really double as loud as the V2 Quiet?
I'm just trying to figure out which one will be best for me as I live in the LA area, oh and btw my plan is catback and HFC only for now until I decide to upgrade my turbo.
Does anyone know the db levels of these two exhausts? I've just never had the opportunity to hear these in person. Thanks guys.

I was told by a guy that has had both exhausts that the loudness levels shown on the website are pretty accurate.

I heard his quiet, it has a nice sound to it without being overwhelmingly loud.

Its what I plan to purchase for myself

V2 is too loud for a daily driver street car IMO and is sure to attract unwanted attention, V2 Quiet is a much better choice.

Good to know, thanks! I was kinda thinking the regular V2 might be loud but again, never heard in person. I'm leaning towards the quiet or as some say... quiet "er" haha

We sell more quiet exhausts to California then anywhere else It's by far one of my favorite exhaust systems.

thanks!

I'm thinking about switching to a quiet exhaust when I
move back to cali this december..But while I'm stationed in
Illinois I'll rock the straight single exit!

I wonder if anyone has tried the ETS V2 regular but with a resonator in the midpipe like they offer on the Extreme? Seems like it might be a good balance, in theory.

Well guys.... my decision is FINALLY DONE! I got it.... I ordered my ETS V2 Quiet Cat back and High Flow Cat today from Michael, a very patient, informative and nice guy to speak with. And now that it's ordered, I'm counting down the days until I get it..... I hate the wait...

Good choice. The V2 quiet still seemed mroe loud to me than my T1R or Perrin CBE.

Yep, major thumbs up for ETS. Post a video when you get it installed, just don't do it in a garage or dyno bay.

I'm still saving up a bit more cash before I can place the order though. I think Chris@ETS convinced me to go with the quiet as well. Can't wait!

Yea I definitely will make a vid... I think it's time someone make a thorough vid of the V2 quiet. I only know from experience because there's many vids of the V2... but only a few for the quiet version, and which aren't all that in depth. I just think it'll make it easier for people to choose what's best for them.
