Boost Leak Tester for Stock X
Boost Leak Tester for Stock X
Anyone ever try this boost leak tester from turboboostleaktesters.com :

Theirs connects to the turbo compressor outlet pipe that leads to the intercooler not at the turbo inlet. This seems to be much easier to do since there's very little to remove in order to check for leaks. Is it still effective though?
Opinions?
Thanks in advance.

You can attach a boost leak tester at any point along the intake system, but obviously, how would you test the connection you are using and any before that? I only do this on cars with bad leaks where you have to test segment by segment to isolate the leaks.
Keep in mind if you are testing your soft hoses, you'll need hard piping to clamp the coupler and the hose to.
There is nothing special about any of the boost leak testers on the market. Make your own for like $5 bucks.
