AMS Widemouth Downpipe
So far on my car I have a Catback Exhaust, Cold Air Intake and a tune. I was thinking of getting the AMS Widemouth Downpipe next. Smart move? And how much of a difference will that make? Performance and sound wise? Thanks guys

no, not needed yet until u decide to swap the turbo out (its the cheapest/easiest way also since youre already gonna be down there)...id get a hfc for now and an intercooler and i/c pipes and youre smile will def get bigger when u open her up..

Which HFC would you recommend? I just looked at a few like, AMS, TurboXS, COBB.

I've worked with the MAP guys numerous times in the past and have always had great success with their stuff. The pricing didn't hurt either
With that said, the AMS and ETS units are also very nice and I'd feel comfortable with either of those on my car too.

You got to know what you want. I dont know what catback you have but I went from having a test pipe+ HKS legamax to the same test pipe + UR dual tip cat back. It was just too loud for me. It sounded really deep and gnarly but not good when driving a 2 1/2 year old.
Im hoping that the depot Racing High flow cat will quite it down. if not i might put the stock cat back on. When I dednt have a kid i didnt care about noise .
So adding a test pipe or downpipe+testpipe will really free up flow and increase noise too.

In terms of noise mine is now quieter with the AMS dp and hfc. That being said, I encountered an overboost problem that required a tune. Since I was getting a tune I decided to also get a cai and ebcs. It just ended up costing much more than I thought it would...definately worth it though.

My question now is can I get all this installed and tuned and later get the full ETS Intercooler kit without getting it tuned again? So should I just wait to get the Intercooler kit then get it all installed and tuned at once? If that made sense

All of the stock intercooler has got to go lol. ETS has a sweet deal for the whole intercooler replacement. When I get some extra cash I'm gonna order this https://www.extremeturbosystems.com/...ooler-Kit.html

I plan on going with the black 4". It seems to be the best deal out there for an intercooler. There are a lot of great reviews.
I just need to do brakes, wheels and tires first.
I think you would be okay getting the i/c after the tune.
