All depends on driving habits and how aggressive you decide to go on the tune. A good conservitive tune with the occasional spirit driving will last a while. Gates ran his Evo hard and aggressive through many races till she finally gave.

Thats what i thought, i jjust been seeing ppl with fp red and black with stock bottoms and i was just woundering. I like to make that power but not ready to be buying a bulit motor haha. Looks like a fp green or MAP turbo for me.

Both of those turbos can blow an engine as well if they are not tuned well.

very true. Tune conservatively. If you want big power build your block. A turbo is a turbo, boost is boost and all engines can blow.

Agreed 100%. How reliable a setup is really depends on the tuner and how he tunes the car. Always be honest with how you use the car so it can be tuned accordingly. For example, a road race tune is going to be much more conservative than a street or autocross tune.

I'm not running a red but I've been running a 60-1 on e85 for quite a while. My stock motor had 90k miles..
