Everyone should learn, what is the best way to learn? Shop manual I'd say. Or read enough before posting questions like that. Hell I know many people that do not know the difference between a diverter valve and a bov. Seems kinda stupid and funny and well.... sad but sometimes people need to just be seen and not heard till there comfortable. I deal with it everyday being I am in the trades and no I don't know it all and there being tame compaired to what I'm use to.

My best suggestion for the OP is to get a intro book or video on turbo cars. Something that covers how the cars are designed, how they operate and all the major components involved in the motor that make them work. They are out there, I can't think of one off the top of my head but I know maximum boost comes to mind, but that book is a little over the top for learning.

well at one point or another we were all n00bs..

the way I learned is thru friends and car shops.

As far as the OP.. go to a local Evo meet , or go to a shop that would be willing to teach you some basics.

Until you get some background on these cars , I would not touch them!

The next person who is tempted to make fun of the idea of installing a CBV backwards needs to google "screaming chicken mod" before clicking "Post Quick Reply."
