You can try and sell it to someone who is going back to stock to trade in their car. mine is just sitting in my garage. No one wants it. it will probably go to scrap soon. I have too many car parts laying around.

IMO, when modding a new car, you should keep your stock parts. god forbid you have an issue that should be covered under warranty, its a good idea to return the car back to stock. and as mentioned before, if u go to trade it in, i believe its always worth more when its in its OEM form...

Dealers can always tell when you put a car back to stock, there are certain markers and indications they look for. You're better off being honest than trying to hide something. I had no problem getting my transfer case replaced under warranty even with my mods.

I try to keep most of my stock parts just in case but where I live we have emissions testing. So every two years I have to put my stock cat and exhaust on just to pass. So if you don't have emissions where you live, I would say sell it to someone who does. Around here, we value that particular stock part....

I'm keeping mine in my outdoor shed. The CC is worth dough for it's platinum. I really do not expect to EVER re-install the stock O2 housing assy or downpipe, they're reminders to me of the labor of love. The CBE is probably good for some recycling dollars, but will wait til I run out of space, sell the Evo (?@!??@?) or die and my wife cleans out all my junk.

My warranty was out a loooong time ago lol. I am an advocate of keeping OEM parts too. Chances are though if there is someone that wants a nice evo, and it has a good quality exhaust system, they will want it as is (IMO).

Sitting in my storage unit. In the event I ever decide to go back to stock, or sell the car, the OEM parts will be going back on.

^It all depends on how far down the modded path you go.

For myself, if I were to sell my car, it would have to be a very specific buyer, one who wouldn't give a **** about stock parts.

I still think the OEM exhaust specifically is a garage item but other OEM parts people buy so I'd sell them. As there are always people selling OEM parts cheap so you can buy back if you really need to later.

Quick Reply: What do you do with an OEM exhaust?
