Need info for 15k service

I will be getting my transmission fluid changed with red line cocktail, rear diff and transfer case with OEM mitsu fluid.

Is there anything that I need to pay close attention to? Like is bleeding required?

I really dont want to have issues with my rear diff or transfer case after fluids are changed.

Some members' transfer case started to whine after the flush...

Please share your .02

The only time i heard of transfer case whining after fluid change is either if its underfilled and there was a lubrication issue or it was overfilled and fluid came out of the breather.

Agreed with replacing those fluids at 15k miles; nothing to bleed, just drain/refill. Be sure both rear diff fluids are done.

Diaqueen 90W LSD and Diamond ATF SP3, two separate drain and fill bolts. The transfer case uses just the Diaqueen 90W LSD.

yes a single quart will be more than enough for the diff. it only takes like .4 of a quart.

if you're doing a full drain and fill of the acd/ayc fluid, it's 6 quarts and then bleeding is required.

I dont think acd/ayc fluid flush it required for 15k service, right?

Correct. Without looking at the manual, I'm not sure when it is required.

Not looking forward to doing it when the time comes since I'll likely use the dealership and hope do it right unless someone writes a program for bleeding the system.

Never; it's not a service item. With that said, if I keep mine for a really long time I'll get it done at maybe 100k miles just for peace of mind

That's the stuff; you'll use about 2/3 of the bottle.
