Quick qestion regarding intercooler

OK my friend is parting out his car and offfered me his AMS FMIC and ingen uicp for 440 bucks...i know this is a steal

The only problem i see is i have a 08 and he has a 10 so the FMIC has different brackets. Ive been searching to see if i can mount the 2010 ic on my car but all i find are people mounting 08 ic on 2010 cars.

Does anyone know if i can mount a 2010 amss ic on my car?

You can mount a 2010 FMIC to your 2008 model no problem. You will just have to remove the small black bracket that attaches the stock FMIC to the lower front core support. The longer brackets on the 2010 FMIC will attach directly to the front core support.

My AMS intercooler bolted up to my 08 with no problems. However, removing that OEM lower front core support is a pain. Have a racheting wrench handy. Will make things 1000% easier.
