How come everyone just hates the lightweight flywheel?

^^^^ More chatter and the RPM drops off really quick. Not friendly on DD.

I find myself always taking Kracka's advice, he's one of the few people on here that has the same goals as I do and seems pretty knowledgable. With that said, I ordered a CC Stage 2 HD from MAP last night.

Bringing an old thread up because im looking at a ACT HD 6 Puck kit and debating if i want to resurface stock flywheel or go with the streetlight. I can do with the negitive things. However is the positive effects worth it? What positive things have you gotten out of the streetlight flywheel.

Any comments for the FX400 vs. FX300 in terms of DD?

I run the ACT 6 puck with streetlite. The streetlite isn't really much lighter than stock, thats why I got it. The prolite is the light one.

I like my setup when my CMC works

Both drive extremely well, it will basically depend on how much power your trying to make.

I am looking to tip 500whp on a mustang dyno by next year but will be staging upgrades until then. I know the clutch will need to be upgraded but want to be sure the FX400 will be worthwhile over the FX300 in terms of drivability.

For 500whp you will need the FX400 or a Stage 4 HD from Comp Clutch.

Assuming a proper reading mustang dyno you will need more than a full face street disc.

I'd recommend a twin or if you are on a budget a 6 puck of some sort. Not sure what the 400 is but hopefully its a 6 puck.

FX400 is either a 6 puck or a 4 puck. You can choose when ordering.

No you can still get the full face disk with the FX-400 I got mine delivered yesterday, just email Chris or Nate at MAP.
