Sounds like the clutch is slipping.

Thanks, its been a debate whether it was the tune or the clutch. After a recent track day it got abit worse and made it more obvious it was the clutch.

Not many things tune related could cause something like that unless the car was misfiring from not enough timing or a fuel issue or something. Feels quite a bit different than clutch slip though.

The reason why it was a debate whether it was the clutch or tune was because the tune was almost finished and since i have a CAI and my underpanel got ripped off and i just orderd the SSP one, i decided the clean the filter. After i cleaned it, thats when the problem started, nothing before that. I did a few logs and the fuel trims and AFR are out of wack. AFR went from 10.5 to 11.5 just from cleaning the filter. So the issue was it would reach about 23psi (peak is 27) and the rpms would stop, then drop 200rpm then go back to normal. Turbo spool slowed down by 400rpm. So i thought maybe the filter did all that because we were tuning with a dirty filter and then all of a sudden a nice clean one.

Now after the track day and the issue now getting abit worse we figured it to be the clutch like some were suggesting from the start. My guess is, the torque i was making before the filter being cleaned was the border line of what the clutch could handle. Cleaning the filter gave me abit more power which pushed it over the limit. So thats why it didnt happen until i cleaned the filter.

Is it necessary to go with a non OEM flywheel for my goals? I've heard/read they can definitely put a damper on DD drivability.

You can keep your stock flywheel no matter what your goals are.

I like it. I think it daily drives just fine.

Or you could do CM FX300 + OEM flywheel.

Is there any difference between OEM Flywheel and CC lightweight with comfort?

How good are the Exedy or Act clutch?
I just need to change it ..

The CC lightweight revs more freely IMO. Again this is just my opinion but I do not feel like its harsh. I drive it daily as does my wife.
