That's not my question though. I asked if the fluid leaking is transfer case fluid or transmission fluid.

I am no 100% being this is a evo x. I assume they are still setup pretty similar. But if it were a 8 or 9. This would be trans fluid. On the transfer case, there is a o-ring that goes between the t-case and trans. This allows for an oil passage for the trans fluid to get to the passenger side axle.
