Blew my motor today :(

I got a 2011 Evo with full bolt ons, tuned by a pro shop at 29psi alwasy had 93, had no knocks. I drove it maybe 1500 miles and it blew. I was in 5th gear low rpms around 45-50mph. What could have caused this?

You say you got tuned by a pro shop, but you had a November post of:
service asc light after tune?

That might have been the beginning of your problems. Good luck to ya!

That was after the first tune. I went back and it was something simple making the asc kick past a certain boost point

i sure hope so. Pretty obvious that it was doing a pull in 5th gear at low rpm that popped it. I dont think anyone is that stupid to do that.

It doesnt say he was doing a pull though. Im pretty sure he meant he was cruising in 5th gear.
