Clutch Chatter

So I scored a twin disc and took it to my shop and all the guy kept telling me is that's a great clutch but are you sure you can tolerate the chatter?...I knew that twins and othe rhigh performance clutches made noise but now he's got me worried that it's some hideous sound....I'm kinda thinking that anybody that knows car noises would hear it and be like "D@mn.....dudes got a serious clutch" but another part of me is thinking "Am I going to learn to accept it and then NOT hear other noises rattles chatters that I NEED to hear..." What do you guys think?

Ahhh good ole clutch chatter only gets more noticeable with cams due to more engine movement from the lope. Its a sound you get when your sitting there idling. Sounds like a knock, but not everyone gets clutch chatter. I only get it when idling at 800 rpms with cams. So what did I do, upped the idling rpms to 900 and installed motor mounts. No more chatter

Chatter is a beautiful thing. You'll get used to it.

Huh? Does it make more noise than stock? Yes. Will you mistake it for your engine blowing up? No.

It's a little chatter at idle. If you are driving, you won't even notice it unless you really really listen for it, especially if you have an aftermarket exhaust and such.

You will hear many more sounds than clutch chatter if you are driving an Evo with a bunch of aftermarket parts.

I had a pretty noticeable amount of chatter when my clutch was new but I was running cams too. Seemed to quiet up a lot over time.
