Tight

I use a 1/2" ratchet on the big rear diff bolts and a 3/8" on the driveshaft bushing bolts and snug everything down real nice.

So I pulled the trigger on Torque Solution differential inserts and driveshaft bushings... I know they will be a pain in the *** to press the OEM ones out but I just like the idea of a full replacement Vs. still having the OEM's in there still. Not to say the Beatrush ones are bad or don't work though.

Kracka... I have all the TS bushings including the solid billet rear One. I love the crispness all of them combined has given..... However I was aware the the diff whine would be Present. But I don't realize how loud it is on highway. I'd rather not take off billet one just yet. Any ideas how I can keep the performance but loose the whine ( or make it less loud)? I know probably one or the other. Was thinking rubber washers at cOntact points. Or maybe high quality vibration deadening spray on stuff on the rear subframe.

Ditch the solid metal bushing, simple as that. You'll be very satisfied with a polyurethane bushing.

So the rear mount ( not the two by drive shaft) I should go back to Oem? I have a new Oem one. I had asked about a urethane based rear mount or at least rubber or whatever in the contact area to prevent vibration. TS said nothing like that was in the works cause the urethane would break down on that particular mount type. The one I'm talking about us the far rear that us attached to the subframe. Ams used to have one but no longer sell it. This kit: http://www.torquesolution.com/mobile...lt.aspx#P37632
Plus this kit: http://www.torquesolution.com/mobile...lt.aspx#P37350. Are already installed. Just go back Oem rear?

I believe AMS's kit still included a solid mount for the centre/rear one.

I used Energy Solutions Rear differential bushings. There are 4 bushings. 2 on the side supports for the rear differential and two for the mustache bar to frame bushings.

The whining at highway driving from 65-80 is absolutely howling. Even at lower speeds I can still hear a little whine.

I remember someone saying on here that the Energy Suspension rear differential bushings might as well be solid metal.

I was planning on driving it for 10k miles and seeing if it quieted down at all. I also took out the metal washers between the bushing and the frame and put the oem rubber spacer in. That did not seem to do much.

Currently, I am looking into changing the bushings on the differential side supports back to stock and getting the beatrush spacers. If the whining is still there I might consider changing the mustache bar bushings but that required dropping the subframe last time as I could not quite get the bolts all the way out.

The shifting on the other hand is very crisp and I have no wheel hop in the rear.

I'm sure you could easily find someone willing to swap stock mounts + cash for your Energy mounts.

Please bear with me I was held back in kindergarten.

a.)
TS rear dif spacer = pressing

Beatrush rear dif spacer = no pressing

TS driveshaft carrier bearing support = no pressing

b.)
Will the Beatrush rear dif spacers ALONE help with the infamous thump?

Or

Should I consider the TS Driveshaft support as well?

Didn't mean to jack but really don't want to start a new thread on the same topic.

a) all correct
b) Yes, but doing both together will hold things even tighter for only a few extra dollars and minutes of work.
