Tial bov

Has anyone ever installed a tial bov without hooking up the vacuum line?

i just wanted to know if it was possible. i am having some issues with mine surging/flutter and i dont know if it is the spring inside or the vacuum line

It needs the vacuum line to function properly. If it's adjustable, loosen it up a bit.

I am going to try replacing the spring one last time to a 10psi and see what happens then i will take it from there. if not i will maybe add a shim to the top of the BOV

theres your problem right there. Go to a -6psi spring...problem solved

Tial valves typically have a flutter sound.. Why you would replace the stock metal one is the question you should be asking.
