New pickup: GTX3071R

Showed up last week and wanted to share some pictures. GTX3071R w/ bigger inlet and outlet pipes from ATP. It will be a little bit but I'll definitely be posting my results with this snail after I have it tuned. I just gotta find the time to be able to do this and my Exedy Twin install, being my DD finding a few days downtime is difficult lol. Thanks to ATP for the help and MAP for the deal!

Anyways, enjoy... (not sure why upside down but oh well)

Ha, my thoughts exactly. Wanted to try something different since there's not much feedback/results on this guy that I've seen on the board

In for results also. Pump or e85?

I had the old gt3076r. Was a nice turbo. Just too laggy.

Was tempted to upgrade to the new gtx

I'd like to get #s on both but pump will be more DD because we dont have many e85 pumps around Seattle. Not sure my injectors will even be big enough for e85, 1100s??

I did, its the 94. As per ATP their suggestion was doing a hybrid with the 94 as the 73 spools a little too quick and can choke up the turbo. Ofcourse the 94 will cause a hit in spool but how much, obviously we'll see how that turns out...

I'm on stock inj right now but I have a set of FIC1100 in a box that'll go one with this... stock pump. If anything I was thinking a bigger pump maybe for e85 support rather than that AND bigger inj than the 1100. I dont plan on ever going over 28lbs so I am guessing 1100+ would be overkill? I've done some reading on all the e85 posts but not as much as I could since its so infrequent in my location, so I have to apologize I dont know much about it. Would running e85 have any influence on spool?

I would give them a call and chat with them or via email... very helpful. I was actually planning on going the 3076 route too until I spoke with them and decided to go w/ the 71. One of the things they suggested was if you are going to go with a 3076 you might as well go with the 3582 because the loss in spool is almost none-existant (according to their testing on e85). Anyways, very good dudes... give em a ring.

you should go with the 4" outlet...the stock 2.5" is too restrictive. however you will need a new intake charge pipe
