E85 question

I found a nice article on here about e85 as far as installing and everything goes but I just wanted to get some clarification. I'm going to be running a fp green with dw1000 injectors and a dw65 fuel pump. Is there anything else that I'm missing as far as parts go.Thx in advance for ur help.

Well, have you thought about an adjustable FPR or an upgraded fuel rail?

E85 takes a lot of fuel delivery to make everything happy in that engine.

Also, have you taken a look at beefing up the drivetrain? Your stock clutch will hate you for all the added power.

Oh, you'll need a tune too, of course!

As JB said FPR and fuel rail are good to have but I'm still running a stock fuel rail and fpr and I'm doing fine on E85 and the green should be happy with it
But what you have should work till a certain point

Keep the stock rail.

I have a stock fuel rail at over 600whp on E85.

Just make sure you get an inline E85 safe fuel filter and make sure the install kit you get for your fuel pump is E85 safe.

If you add any fuel lines they need to be e85 rated and the in tank ones need to be rated for submersible and e85 use obviously.

Most of this stuff is in kits now a days, just call MAP if you are unsure, they sell all the kits.

You can get an AFPR, but its not really needed for your setup. Unless you hardwire your pump then you might want to get one to keep base pressure down at idle.

Thanks for the advice guys. I already bought 1000cc injectors and from what I've been hearing I should've went bigger. I'm wondering if I went with a afpr if that would help keeping the duty cycle down. I'm not to caught up with how that would help and as for as the drivetrain goes I don't plan on running e85 until I upgrade. If the injectors are going to run at to high of a duty cycle I'll just run this setup for awhile and then run e85 later. As far as fuel lines from what the guys at map told me all I need is the dw65 I would b ok.

Stock turbo? 1000cc should be fine. If you have or are planning to have an aftermarket turbo, go bigger

1000's are good to like 500whp on E85, more if you have a proper pump, rail, regulator setup too

I made basically 500whp on my fpred with 1000's.
