Any idea how many RPM you spool earlier?

You will see a good increase with a lower back pressure exhaust such as a straight through system. I have run them with just a straight through resonator to cut the raspyness and unwanted frequencies and had good success with similar set ups.

Straight pipe with a resonator is the way to go. But performance wise I dont feel much difference.

Test Pipe usually picks up a good 1-2psi of boost and I'd say about 300rpm sooner spoolup on a stock turbo. It's a big difference
