Thats what i'm fearing

Anyone notice the EGT go crazy. i'm mainly llking at this cause sme days u want a quiet cruiser but the some u want a thoaty free flowing beast

Nice idea.. But the motors for exhaust cut outs have a bit of a reputation for unreliability, not sure about this specific brand.. If you just want to be able to reduce the sound on occasion, a cheaper alternative could be using a silencer, although I'm not sure how they hinder performance

I would much rather get a Boost actuated Valve.

Mechanical > Electrical

Mechanical aftermarket parts can be just as likey to fail as electrical aftermarket parts can. It's all about quality. We have not had any of our customers had a motor failure and they generally use the motor almost every day with no incident.

We are working on releasing a simple module that works with this muffler that comes with an adjustable boost switch from 1-25psi that automatically opens the valve once boost exceeds the specified boost level. Once the boost drops below that level, the valve closes automatically. I actually find the cruise tuning to be a bit smoother and less erratic with the increased back pressure when it's closed.
