Should I get cams? FP black stock block

So I'm at 420ish whp and 340wtq, which is where I want to be for reliability purposes.
I wouldn't be getting the cams to get more power so is there any OTHER reasons to upgrade cams . Would probably get GS2's or kelford b with springs.

Thanks

Zero reason to get cams if you're happy with your current power.

getting either of those cams would definitely give you more midrange power and you could probably keep your same peak #'s you have now, but run less boost to get them

Cams are a lot of work if you do them yourself and expensive if you have someone else do them. Like Kracka said zero reason to buy if your happy with the power and the mid power gains would not be worth the headache of buying buckets/Tappets to get the right valve clearance and removing the timing chain.

If you plan on building the block it wouldnt hurt to get the cams for the build but like others have said kind of pointless until you are pushing the air flow to use them.

^ Hahahahaha that they do I would say some s2s for sure they go hand in hand with a black and like stated you can of you want keep your peek #s but use less boost and that's what helps longitivtiy of the motor an I love the s2s personally

No, S1 and S2s are run in a lot of daily driven cars that don't stall at stop lights. But its more about the tune than the cams.

S1's will be much more bearable for a DD street car (assuming proper tuning).

s2's on my built 2.0L were not quite as nice as on my 2.2L.

Displacement helps, but more importantly proper MAF and MAP scaling. s2's idle fine now at 840rpms for me

I run the Kelford B on the stock block with springs. No stalling problems, drives great
