Sean did the tuning on my X. Ive put 10k happy miles on the car since, seeing its my DD. Had a little issue with the 1st tune immediately after (a few days) with ridiculously high knock counts. Brought the car back with grave concern after speaking with Sean. He threw it back on the dyno, re-tuned it, and depleted the knock.


Car WOKE UP, night and day difference. Ill be going back Ivey when the time is right

 

Getting a custom tune is suggested after you are full bolt-on so as to make the most power.however companies like English tuning in Washington that really know their stuff can still give decent gains from an otherwise stock motor...personal preference I guess. I will have turbo back exhaust, CAI, 3 port, UICP, LICP, 3" ETS Intercooler before going to English so that its a one time go. For now I have cobb

 

Went with ets uicp / ets intake/ turbo xs tbe / grimmspeed 3 port ebc.

Car made 324/300. With 25psi.

Now this is a year later & most places wouldn't even bother to help me out.
Was getting a p0420 ses code, Sean took care of it immediately.
Dave got me in (I didn't even have an appointment, this is also on Labor Day weekend.) they got me in & out in no time.

They installed a non fouler & did a quick adjustment.
I'm not the best with putting my thoughts down.

Fast/Courteous & Honest, with a true concern for the client.

No matter if you just have a tune or a full build, you can't be in better hands.

Sean is one of the nicest guys i have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He has a personality that is 2nd to none.
Gave me help with all his vast knowledge, & is a stand up guy. Plus he is so friendly, you feel like you've know him for years. Most shop owners are a little on the pia side, not Sean. Made me feel welcome & I like that a lot.
That speaks volumes to me.

Plus his staff are true car guys who get it & know how to get things done.

Can't say enough good things, I highly recommend IVEY TUNE for any tuning or work, you will not regret it.

Finally, a shop that can be trusted with the 2nd most expensive thing I owned.
