I am planning on buying this intake. Just curious if any owners of it can comment on it pros or cons. Thanks.

 

Pros:
Looks amazing (pretty much its main selling point)
Less restrictive than stock (even though stock isn't probably a restriction for most people)

Cons:
It's price (relative to its actual function, Price for it's form is about right)

So if you have an X and want a new intake for performance reasons, and your stock intake really is the restriction... probably better options for alot less$

If you want a new intake with maybe a little bit more flow/intake sound and you really want the engine bay to be a focus of your car then go for it.

I love mine but I know its pretty much a purely aesthetics thing.

 

Thanks for input. I am sure it is more than aesthetics though. When coupled with there radiator shroud it has scoops that ram air right up into the box opening. Very functional at speed. Not so much off the line.
