Will I get any sort of CEL with a AMS intake?

 

I've had this intake installed for over 6 months without any problems or cel

 

I got a CEL the first couple of months with the intake. It would come and go every few weeks, but once the weather warmed up, the CEL has never come back. I wonder if the outside temp has something to do with it. If the CEL came on, I would just disconnect the battery for a little bit, reconnect, CEL would be gone for a couple of weeks. When it came back, I repeated the process. The CEL hasn't come back on since Febuary.

 

I got a lean code once. Partial throttle at highway speeds, which is the common way to trigger a code with these.

A couple weeks later I got tuned and haven't had anything since.

 

It all depends on your car and how the weather is outside.....some cars don't get it, some cars Do get it....it all depends. I had this intake on my car also for a good 4 months and i had NO CEL or anything.

Now i have the ETS Intake. Similar, but not really and the ETS works perfect! WEEHHE!
