Wish I had a lift when I did this... something as simple as rebolting the oil lines pissed me off.
was this on a stock frame gtx3071? im very interested in this turbo

I'm personally looking at the ATP GTX3576r...looks to be full spooled to 28psi ~4k rpm on stock 2.0/cams and made 450whp easily on pump 93...which is not bad for this sized turbo. From what i've read the 3076 is a bit of a let down on the X. It's either best to go with the 3071 or step up to the 3576 if you want more top end. Since FP jacked their prices the 3576 is the exact same price as the Red/Black...i just decided to go with something different lol

Yea, stock replacement gtx3071 w/ the bigger A/R housing than the x3071 comes with.

I doubt you'll be able to get to 28 by 4k w/ stock... I'm on the 3071 and I get to 26.5 by 4250ish and you're wanting the bigger turbo. My dyno chart was posted by English, you can take a look. The 450 # shouldnt be a prob though.

*edit* you're right man, i found the VD graph of the guy with the 3576. he's getting 26 by 4k. This log was done in the initial tuning phase (look how rich he is) This is on an MR, reason for using gear 4 instead of 3

Heres another VD of a guy in Dubai with one...but he has a large-runner ETS manifold..the same HiBoost was using for sometime with the old 3071, and found better spool with the Full-Race mani. Graph starts at 3500, full 28psi reached at 4500. This is a GSR

This sounds about right. Its common to see 23-24lbs on a 2.3L by 3700-3800 with the GTX3071 so a 2.0L is going to be just over 4000 to see 28lbs

I'm not sure the full mods list or tuner for the guy with the MR who got full spool at 4k on the 3576r...he's over on the other forums and wont answer my PM..i do know it was pump 93 for both cars. The guy from Dubai is really nice and told me he has full boltons running fic1100 inj and the ETS mani..he just added GSC S2 cams to the mix so i'm waiting to see if spool improves any. I'll let you guys know my findings..I think the 3576 may be a hidden gem that got overlooked by alot of ppl after the first Garretts had issues with the wastegates, and generally poor performance..

I'd like to see actual numbers for the 3576r, but I'd be surprised if it saw full boost by 4k on a 2L

Figured this could add to the thread, here is my VD(dynojet) chart using the gtx3071r -e85

27psi 3900rpm tapering down to 23psi by 7000rpm. I'm out of fuel pump it seems...

nice, I know we talked in the past... remind me of the A/R you are using on the 71 again? I'm assuming that you couldnt go much more than 27 because of the fuel issue? Shoot you should be able get some more lbs being on e85. I'm almost at the exact same boost spike (26.5) but on 92oct.

I'm looking to replace the hot side of my 3071r with a t3 style vband hot side for ease of install and room based on the downpipe to ac compressor clearance with a 3" downpipe. What recommendations for hotside A/R and why? Any help is appreciated

.73 a/r I believe
I am actually out of fuel pump around 24 psi. I was in the process of hot wiring the DW65c pump but haven't had the time. I also have the option of bumping fuel pressure.
