My car is at Cobb today/tomorrow for installation & tuning. My plan is to post results on Sunday once I've been able to digest and compare them.

You're making 413whp with your current set-up right?

How much more do you think you'll make with this EF 2.5?

For a slightly different perspective, looking at the exducers.

GT30 82-trim = 54.3mm

This wheel is very similar to a 77-trim GT30 turbine wheel with better aero. Almost like it's a 77-trim NS111 GT30 turbine wheel. This could get very interesting.

As far as making them for the EVO 8/9, I wonder if this isn't a new turbine wheel and is something that Mitsu uses in a different application. While Mitsu was thinking when they went reverse rotation on the EVO for packaging, it really makes things difficult for the aftermarket turbo upgrades. The EVO X doesn't have that problem though.

Correct, and we'll just have to wait and see MAP is rating it for another 25whp on pump, but only time will tell.

Would be nice if the last model year X or some special edition comes with this from the factory.

No they want it tested on "our" (MN) real gas, aka E85

They don't seem to mind letting me test stuff. The real pump gas is corn flavored.

HAHA we have E85 down here too, just not convenient for me since I'd be filling up every-other day with how much I drive! Sooner or later I'll get a tank of it to put down some dyno queen numbers. I do have an E85 base map sitting on my AP...

I won't be able to be there for any of the dynoing since I'll be in Austin, TX all day tomorrow, but I can ask if they'll take one. Or, if I'm really lucky, maybe they'll get it on the dyno this afternoon yet.

didn't think about comparison to gt30 wheel. mitsu is not dormant making new wheels. found this cool updated td05 wheel. also found the 6h version that Robert has been building upgrades with.

Just went to the FP website. The new turbo is listed @ $1700 and the FP line is listed @ 2250+.

Why the price bump? Anything different? Just seems fishy that MHI releases a new turbo and their prices jump.

My mistake...thanks for the quick response
