The 2000cc's work for sure, but they are more work to get right and for many setups not needed and they do cause some low pulse width yuckiness at idle and low speed.

I've already tuned the Map injectors on this car on a stock motor on e85--- Car went 12.0 with a 2.0 60 ft at 23psi. It runs/drives like a champ. My job is easy because I work with quality parts. The injectors from map are a walk in the park.

The Buschur double-pumper will flow enough fuel to make this project one hell of a ride, and these injectors mean there will be no fuel limitations.

ps...

Smaller injectors aren't "easier to tune". Good injectors are "easier to tune". I still remember the whole DW fiasco -- Now THEY were a pita.

12.0 with a 2.0 60 is almost as bad as my 12.0 w/ 2.4 60ft lol.

I totally agree with what you are saying on the good injectors are easier to tune. I guess many very good tuners have commented and proven that depending on how some cars act you get stuck with a very rich idle simply because the stock Evo X ecu cannot operate at a low enough min pulse width to get you where you want. Now on E85 I know people have gotten it pretty good but its not quite "stock like". I guess I was commenting for fun

Rock on!

Yeah.. we laughed that he hit a 12.0 "wall" that day at the track, but I guess with the stock motor, stock cams, and stock clutch he needed some more parts.

You heading back to the track this season?? I hear you are finally going t3??

I'll be at the track again for sure, gotta get a time that doesn't suck total ***. Now I fixed my ignition break up issue too, so as long as my clutch holds I'll be good.

Was going to go t3 (5858 or maybe even 6262) but invested in a $3500 "sporting" rifle before they get banned lol. No more mods for a while.

Update: I picked up the car on Saturday. Car's running very well at both idle and when I'm using power.
