2013 GSR Metal CMC

]Hey guys,

Has anyone ever heard of the new Evos coming with a metal Clutch Master Cylinder?

Because my 2013 has a metal one. I'll post pictures up when I get home from work but I noticed this yesterday when changing my oil.

Does this mean I shouldn't have to "upgrade" to the AMS/Magnus CMC kit?

Maybe corrected the problem.

UPDATE: Here are the pics. When hitting it with a metal object it does sound like metal. The mounting looks completely different than what I've seen in earlier evos. Anyone has pics of their stock plastic CMC to compare?

Showing it's an evo.

I can't confirm or deny if it is aluminum vs general metal. How would I be able to tell?

Previous years where black in color and plastic, if 2013 is metal or aluminum that would be a great improvement.

If it is aluminum, I wonder what the reliability will be compared to the 8/9 upgrade. Not to mention cost difference.

If anyone has time, they should contact a dealer and compare part numbers for cmc for let's say a 2011 vs 2013.

Bought it new from the dealer a few months ago. Completely stock other than tints.

You are confusing the brake master with the clutch master.
I just checked on mine, it looks like black plastic.

On your last picture, follow the black line that comes out of the front of the brake master. It makes an almost 180 degree turn and then connects to the clutch master far in the back corner to supply fluid.. would be really hard to take a picture of that.
