Help: Need "lightweight" catback that's not too loud

Lightweight cat-backs are: (a) pretty much single-exit, (b) relatively loud. No problem with (a) as I prefer single-exit cat-backs. A little bit loud is OK. One option is the Tomei Expreme with the silencer in: I've been told its pretty quiet. But, once that sucker is in for a fairly long time, it will be very difficult to take it out.

Just for reference, the AMS single-exit weighs 21 lbs, the OEM weighs 45 lbs and the Tomei Expreme weighs 9.5 lbs. I would be fine with a cat-back less than 25 lbs.

On these forums, there are many threads saying the ETS V2 Quiet (which I believe is very heavy) is not very quiet. I don't know, but how does it compare to an AMS single-exit? For that matter, how does any dual-exit cat-back compare to an AMS single-exit?

Is there a relatively light (< 25 lbs) single-exit that is not as loud as the AMS single-exit?

I have the Buschur Crossflow and it is pretty light and one of the quietest exhausts out there.

Thanks, the STM is definitely light! But, its probably not on the quiet side.

The Buschur Crossflow weighs 29 lbs. But, yeah, that's a top candidate.

There's also the Buschur Dual Catback w/Quiet muffler: it's the lightest dual-exit I know of at 25 lbs. I wonder, though, if it's any quieter than the AMS?

Does anyone know if the ETS single-exit is not as loud as the AMS? I as this because Michael says the ETS Ti single-exit is quieter than their Stainless!

Yes, that's what I'm thinking. However, it would be nice to know up front if it's quieter than the AMS single-exit. If not, part of me says "Just buy the AMS at half the price!"

i also have the crossflow. its very quite like stock.
but it was PITA to make it sit perfect. the muffeler keep slipping down with the clamps they supply, also the finish product look so cheap. but of course, for that price range, we can't expect more on it.

I'm leaning towards the ETS Ti.
