cobb hard pipe kit with AEM intake

cobb hard pipe kit with AEM intake

doesn't anyone using this set up. hows the fitment, i heard i have to buy cobb turbo inlet to replace the AEM one in order to perfect connect the bov. is that true?

That is correct. Just buy the Cobb Silicone turbo inlet and replace it with the turbo inlet that came with the AEM intake kit. It bolts as good, is smoother and the piping will align very well.

That is what I have installed on my car.

it will wear down at the welds and crack and leak. simple harmonics. there's a reason mitsubishi used a rubber hose.

That would only be true if the pipes had no tolerance for any slight movement. I have had them installed for 5 months now with no problems whatsoever.

I got creative and cut the pipe a little shorter and got myself a 4-ply HPS 45 degree hose for my mod. Now fits perfect with stock AEM turbo inlet
