I'd agree, 2 piece rotors first though, then that.
Giro Disc 2 piece are really nice. I just ordered the DSS Carbon. Thanks for all the input.

I'm looking for a DS as well, don't wich one to choose... Any more news or info on the Englewood one?

It would be nice to have a chart of the different DS and their weights.

FWIW I say the driveshaft first. Two piece rotors are nice but way more expensive then a driveshaft. They are still expensive to replace. Now lightweight wheels is another story. That would be first over all.

As far as weights go the carbon option I believe is the lightest but most expensive. But I think maybe 2lbs lighter then the englwood piece which is the cheapest and the nicest. I believe it's around 600. That is after the core replacement though. A nice feature it has is that it reuses there stock yoke so stronger then a replacement which I've heard of the ds piece tends to break at higher tq numbers.

I'll post up the DSS Carbon Fiber one as soon as I receive it which should be in about 3 weeks.

I've read so many different weights on the various shafts. I did call Englewood (they were very helpful) and they indicated the stock was 36 lbs. and their DS is 24 lbs. I also read elsewhere the stock is like 41 lbs. They also quoted me $685 which does not include the $150 core charge. For me being in Hawaii it would cost me more on shipping than the core charge so I would be looking at full price ($835). Given that plus shipping I opted for the (hopefully) lighter DSS. I wasn't able to get a firm weight on the DSS Carbon Fiber but shipping weight was ~22 lbs. We'll see.

Did you ended up purchasing the CF one from The Drive Shaft Shop??

Can you weight the OEM DS and the new CF from DSS when you get them??

It would be nice info!
