Question Hissing Noise under heavy acceleration?

Need some help please.

Breif background I have a 2008 Evo X GSR 51k miles with Invidia TBE (Catback + Invidia DP/test pipe combo), AEM Intake, AMS Tune, AMS UIP, one year old Spec Stage 3+ Clutch and fidanza aluminum flywheel.

Ok, onto the problem. When I am cruising everything sounds fine. But as soon as I press the gas pedal down hard (but not WOT) I hear a very loud hissing/air blowing noise. As soon as I let off its gone. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Boost leak. Does the car feel down on power? Check all your clamps and make sure they're tight.

Did you just recently install the intake? Just making sure we're not talking about the normal turbo sound with an intake before it gets above the audible range...

I had a loud hiss after installing my downpipe. It was leaking at the gasket between the downpipe and the turbine housing. Just a thought. Like stated above. look for boost leak and check your exhaust gaskets for fouling that would indicate a leak.
