I'm looking in buying the v2, how is the drone in this car?

I was thinking about getting a resonator installed in the midpipe. Has anyone done this with the v2?

The drone isn't that bad but it does drone. Hands down it's the best exhaust you can buy for the X's. Well IMO anyway.

I have the V2 Quiet with resontated test pipe and recirculating O2 downpipe. In my opinion it sounds amazing. It is by no means quiet, but rather perfect. At WOT anyone in the area will turn their heads. When city driving, it has a great rumble, with some snorts and burbles that add character. On the highway at cruising speeds, there is very little cabin noise.

I cam from an STi with an APS 3.5" TBE with no cats, so I'm not afraid of noise. I was concerned the V2 Quiet would be disappointingly quiet. It is not at all. Still quite loud - but controllable with your right foot.

- I agree. The quiet is one of my favorite exhaust systems we sell.

Did you have the V2 quiet installed with the stock pipes or did you install it along with the resonated test pipe and recirculating downpipe?

I'm trying to figure out how it sounds by it self (without aftermarket test and downpipes).

I have a lot of customers w/ the extreme and they love it! If you're worried about noise at all the V2 is a good option, the quiet is my favorite though.
