changed the set up of the motor to a 2.0 Custom Long Rod and have a custom side winder manifold T4 twin scroll connecting to a PT6870 just waiting for everything to come in the mail.

I rather a stronger motor that I can beat up a bit more.
It's all in the rest of the setup and the tune.
My built 2.0L last for like 3k miles vs over 15k and counting on my 2.2L. And the 2.2 has seen more about the same revs and way more torque/power.

2.2 is a great engine that you can rev very high, But I plan on dragging this car big time and most of the guys out there with Evos who run high MPH and rev to the moon consistently go with the 2.0. Take the fastest evo in the country 2.0 I don't know every specific reason but I have had a couple different tuners give me the pros and cons.
But knowing me ill reach the limits of this 2.0 then go 2.1 and whos know maybe back to 2.2
and il give the full results of what is best .

2.0 being a square bore and lighter pistons is probably better for all out drag sure. If your car sees any street time 2.2 is just as good or 2.1 if you are sleeving anyway to keep weight down and give thicker walls.
They are all good when setup right. But yes, most super drag cars stick with the tried and true 2.0.

Yes you understand my point I will street it but for the heavy drag use the 2.0 seems very promising. 2.2 is the street beast lol
