HeadGames has decided to make public what we have been using in our customer pocket port packages and make them available to everyone What we have done is taken the already great GSC beehive valve spring and stepped it up a notch. We had GSC make us retainers so we can utilize the addition of a Manley 5.5mm machined valve lock! No stock stamped steel valve locks in our builds!

The beehive already has many attributes like

• Rev faster
• Lighter components
• More durable design
• Less stress on valvetrain components
• Lower spring frequency for more precise valve control.
• More valve control equals more aggressive cam profiles
• Nano peened for quicker break in and a less stressed spring
  
• All of these items help to return more power for you to enjoy!

This beehive valve spring is matted with the Grade 5 Titanium retainers and with the addition of the Manley machined valve locks..This is a must have for anyone pushing the limits.

5042 Beehive spring pressure:

• 1.352"@ 82 lbs
• .450"=204
• .550"= Coil bind.

5042 Beehive Rev and Boost range (using an S2 profile camshaft set)

• Max RPM: 9,800
• Max boost: 40psi
• Retainer Weight 5.14g

The drawback of this set-up....it can only be used with a Ferrea valve.

The Ferrea valve uses a Honda style radius at the valve lock because they use their Honda locks with their Evo X valve spring kits.

So, this might not be for everyone.
