Inconsistent Clutch Engagement

I just removed my clutch restrictor pill in my EVO X. I did feel a SLIGHT improvement in the way the clutch grabbed. After reading many posts about how this mod was to significantly improve the feel of the car, I was a tad bit disappointed. The clutch engagement was still high.

However; the very next day, I got into my car and the clutch felt alot softer initially. Cranked up the car and drove her out the driveway. I noticed that the clutch engagement was nearly to the floor. Then I thought in my head that this was the change everyone was talking about. I loved the new engagement point.

Now, after driving around town for a few hours (making a few stops), I noticed the clutch engagement was becoming the same as before. No more low engagement points.

I did a flush with some Motul 5.1 fluid.

Is this normal? I really would like to get back the low engagement point. I've read that with the OEM CMC, it is impossible to adjust the clutch (I've had the CMC recall done to this car about a month ago).

Thanks!

Drove the car yesterday. Clutch engagement was back to the low point. But the longer I drive the car, it seems like the engagement point seems to creep up higher.

Any thoughts?

So you flushed the clutch line, brand new fluid? If you hadn't said so, that would have been my guess. Bled it properly I presume?

Yes, I blead the system when I took the clutch pill out with some fresh fluid (motul 5.1)

drove the car around yesterday. Engagement was fine. After driving it for a good amount of miles, the clutch engagement was litterally an inch down from the top. I will probably bleed the system again, but is this normal??
