Torque Solutions Short Shifter

Installed today and am not impressed. Have installed short shifters in damn near every vehicle I have owned. Very notchy and just does not feel right. Much more effort needed to shift. Anybody have any opinions on a better shifter? I might go back stock.

If you take it out I may want it if you let it go for decent price since it's not the one you want. Maybe get a little money back

Install very easy. Maybe I just need to get used to it but not smooth whatsoever. They advertise that it moves shift knob closer to driver which did not seem any closer to me. The length compared to stock is about 1 3/4" shorter. Give me a couple days and I will make up my mind. And will take your offer if I decide to get rid of it.

I have the Works short shifter, along with underhood bushings, shifter base bushings, and AMSoil tranny fluid. It defintely brought the shifter closer to the driver seat, and shortened the throw noticeably. There is still a little notchiness when it's cold, but once it's warm, it's wonderful!

Kracka has a really good thread somewhere on short shifters...below I think is a pretty good one.

Yeah I also have the torque solution short shifter and I love mine. You need to grease everything up and use it for awhile. It wears in

I am looking at getting the whole complete shifter. Base and all. For moment I am keeping this shifter in car. Just bought rods pistons cams bearings under tray ETS O2 housing and test pipe. So it might be a month or 2.
